Ekies All Senses: Sustainable by design
Supported By: Ekies
For a sublime yet sustainable stay, Ekies All Senses Resort nestled on Vourvourou Bay in Sithonia, Chalkidiki is ticking all the boxes. The striking luxury resort is a member of Design Hotels and putting the graft in to be as sustainable as possible. Regular beach-clean ups are the norm, and all furnishings are natural, unrefined and organic. There’s no single-use plastic in site, and any former plastic used in the hotel has been recycled for a new purpose. All employees here get stuck into social work and Ekies takes an active role in local charity and community work.
A collection of brand-new Pine Suites create an indoor/outdoor living vibe, designed to blend into the surrounding leafy landscape, alive with lush plants and colourful flora. Each eco-apartment has a private garden and pool leading to the surrounding forest, where guests can spend their time in barefoot bliss under the warm sun.
Modern Greek cuisine is whipped up each day across the resort’s four restaurants, using only the freshest ingredients – fish caught each morning, veg from the chef’s garden, organic meat and dairy and produce grown in the peninsula’s fertile soil.
